A LANDMARK LATER-LIVING DESTINATION
JJV produced a series of architectural visualisations for The Boundary, a luxury later-living and assisted living development in St John’s Wood, London, delivered for Auriens and designed by APT.
The imagery was created to support both planning and marketing communication for a landmark residential scheme positioned directly opposite Lord’s Cricket Ground, one of London’s most recognisable sporting destinations.
The Boundary redefines later living through a hospitality-led approach, combining high-quality residential accommodation with extensive shared amenities and concierge-style services.
A defining feature of the scheme is its unique relationship with Lord’s Cricket Ground, with upper-level resident spaces designed to take advantage of uninterrupted views across the stadium, including a private top-floor bar overlooking the ground.
The visualisations explored both interior apartments and shared amenity spaces, focusing on comfort, material quality and a refined hospitality-led aesthetic suited to high-end later living.
Emphasis was placed on creating calm, elegant environments that balance privacy with social interaction, reflecting the evolving expectations of contemporary retirement living in central London.

One of the most distinctive aspects of The Boundary is its direct visual connection to Lord’s Cricket Ground, offering residents an outlook that is rarely available in central London residential developments. From the upper levels, including the private resident bar, views extend across the iconic stadium, capturing both its scale and atmosphere as an active sporting landmark within the city. This relationship between the building and its surroundings adds a unique sense of place, anchoring the development in one of London’s most recognisable and culturally significant settings.
