PATIENT-CENTRED DESIGN
JJV produced a series of architectural visualisations for the proposed Women and Children’s Hospital at Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, commissioned by Stride Treglown.
The imagery included exterior views, interior healthcare environments and aerial perspectives, developed to support design communication and stakeholder engagement for a major new NHS facility.
The visualisations were designed to make complex healthcare proposals accessible, helping stakeholders understand both the functionality and human impact of the new hospital environment.
COMPLEX HEALTHCARE COMMUNICATION
Healthcare projects require clear communication between clinicians, design teams and stakeholders. The CGI helped bridge this gap by visualising how spaces would function in practice, from clinical areas through to circulation and arrival spaces.
Aerial views were also used to show how the new facility sits within the wider Royal Cornwall Hospital campus, supporting discussions around access, integration and long-term development planning.
PATIENT-CENTRED DESIGN
The visualisations focused on creating a clear understanding of how the new hospital would support women, children and families through improved clinical environments and patient-focused design.
Interior spaces were carefully presented to communicate calm, clarity and accessibility, helping translate complex healthcare requirements into environments that feel welcoming, reassuring and easy to navigate.
