JJV produced a series of architectural visualisations for Pixel Penzance, a landmark creative workspace designed to support the regeneration of Penzance town centre.
Commissioned by Stride Treglown, the imagery helped communicate the vision for a contemporary workplace that would provide flexible studio and coworking space while acting as a catalyst for economic growth, creativity and community engagement within the town.
Unlike a traditional office development, Pixel was conceived as a home for Cornwall's creative industries, bringing together artists, makers, designers and small businesses within a purpose-built collaborative environment.
The visualisations were developed to showcase not only the architecture itself, but also the role the building would play in creating activity, supporting local enterprise and bringing new energy back to the high street. Since completion, the project has become an important part of Penzance's ongoing regeneration story.
With only a small number of carefully crafted visualisations, the focus was on clearly communicating the character of the building and its relationship with the surrounding townscape.
The imagery helped illustrate how contemporary architecture could sit comfortably within a historic setting, supporting stakeholder engagement and reinforcing the project's ambition to create a distinctive new destination for Penzance's creative community.
Pixel demonstrates how workplace design can contribute to something larger than the building itself. By creating space for creativity, collaboration and enterprise, the project helps support both local businesses and the long-term vitality of Penzance town centre.
