JJV produced a series of architectural visualisations for The Old Police Station, a heritage residential conversion in Woodford Green, London, delivered by Jaspar Group.

The project reimagines a former civic building as a collection of contemporary apartments and townhouses, combining retained architectural character with modern residential living. The CGI was created to support off-plan marketing and communicate the quality of the proposed homes prior to completion.

Heritage Residential Conversion

The design approach centres on retaining and celebrating the building’s original civic character, while introducing high-quality residential spaces within the existing structure.

The visualisations highlight this balance between old and new, focusing on how original architectural features are preserved and integrated with contemporary interiors designed for modern living.

PLACE, HISTORY & CONTEXT

Former civic buildings such as police stations often occupy prominent positions within local neighbourhoods, giving them a strong sense of identity and presence.

This project draws on that heritage, using visualisation to communicate how a building with a clear public history can be successfully reimagined for contemporary residential use while maintaining its architectural significance.
