A NEW TYPE OF TOWN CENTRE DESTINATION

JJV produced a series of architectural visualisations for Ffos Caerffili, a new town centre market forming part of the wider Caerphilly 2035 regeneration masterplan in Wales.

Working with Cowshed on the launch and placemaking campaign, the imagery helped communicate the vision for a new commercial and community-led destination designed to bring activity, footfall and independent businesses into the heart of Caerphilly.

The scheme introduces a contemporary market environment made up of independent traders, food and beverage operators and flexible event spaces, creating a destination that operates across both day and evening.

The visualisations were developed to reflect this activity-led concept, showing how the space would function as a vibrant social hub for the local community while also supporting small business growth and enterprise.

Located within the heart of Caerphilly town centre, the market plays a key role in strengthening connections between the castle, high street and surrounding public realm.

The CGI helped communicate this strategic positioning, illustrating how the development contributes to increased footfall, improved town centre activity and long-term economic regeneration.

Beyond architectural communication, the imagery formed part of the wider branding and launch strategy delivered by Cowshed, supporting public engagement and early awareness of the scheme.

The visualisations helped translate the regeneration vision into an accessible narrative, contributing to the successful launch and positioning of Ffos Caerffili as a key catalyst within the Caerphilly 2035 plan.
